Downstairs construction progresses!

Former location of adult non-fiction shelves, facing the
north side of the Library. The dust in the air causes everything
to look blurry and out of focus.

The group study rooms are now gone. The blue painted area
is where the youth biographies were shelved along the wall.

Patrons would have been looking at the Reference Desk area
several weeks ago. Now it's just hanging wires to mark the spot.

These two-person rooms on the Upper Level will be
wonderful for tutoring sessions.

The Lower Level is now empty!

Computer Lab is being dismantled prior to the move to

The Lower Level looks pretty deserted after the books

The Books Start to Move !

Adult biographies are removed from the shelves and loaded on carts
for the trip to the third floor.

Movers line up the carts as they finish filling them.

Carts are then shrink-wrapped to avoid spilling the books and are
ready to be moved upstairs.

Third floor ready for the move.

Carpeting details are being completed on the third level.
This is the future site of the Reference Desk.

The first shelves are being installed on the walls in preparation
for the books arriving from the lower level.

View at the top of the stairway to the third floor. The
public restrooms are on the left wall.
